Fir Needle 10ml. (1/3 oz)
Aroma:The typical aroma of the Christmas tree, subtler than the Pine oils, yet more spicy than the spruce. Strong, balsamic, resinous odor with fresh turpentine notes.
Latin Name:Picea vulgaris
Country of Origin:Siberia
Cultivation Method:Harvested from Wild Growing Plants
Extraction Method:Steam Distilled
Color:Colorless to pale yellow
Aromatherapy Properties:Refreshing, invigorating, stimulating. Strengthening.
Very popular in an Aromatherapy bath to revive tired muscles.
Suggested Use:Add a few drops to a diffuser; this is great to wake up and feel energized. Frequently used in room sprays, detergents, cough and cold preparations. To make your own room spray, combine 2oz. of distilled water with about 10 drops of Essential Oil in one of Aromaland's freshpack misters, shake well, and spray liberally.
Adding Fir Needle to a warm bath brings welcome stimulation to sore, stiff and overworked muscles. In order to prevent the oils from floating on the surface, blend the Essential Oil with some Half & Half, honey, vinegar or Aromaland's Coconut Emulsifier before adding it to the water.
History:Evergreen Essential oil has a long history of use in the sauna, steam bath, and as an additive to baths and massage products targeting sore muscles and strengthening the system. Nicely energizing.
Specific Safety Information:Apply to skin only in strong dilution, possible skin irritant.
